Self Care. Self Love. ft Goku
Exploring the idea of self love and growing in our understanding of what it means to love ourselves. Exploring the difference between self love and self care. If you aren’t loving yourself properly, you are bound to destroy yourself.
Caring for ourselves isn’t just the brushing of our teeth or the moisturizing of our temples, it’s also being able to set boundaries, giving ourselves space to meditate, exercising the body, being mindful of the information we’re consuming, and sitting with our emotions... These are all acts of care to show our temple love.
In oder to love ourselves, we must care for ourselves. Self love manifested is self care. If one says "I love myself" but does not take aligned actions to show for that love in the way that they care for themselves, then those words “I love myself” hold no depth.. Those words then become meaningless.
You can only love yourself to the length in which you know yourself. Reaching higher states of consciousness will allow you to grow more in love with yourself simply because of your awareness of self. It’s important to remember that people can only meet us as deeply as they’ve met themselves.
We also explore the idea of how our enviroment has the ability to impact our thoughts, feelings, and emotions. This is the time to re-connect with nature... Ground, take your shoes off, hug a tree, talk to some animal, go for a walk outside, wear clothing that allows your skin to breathe, get in the water... The only true way to connect to nature, is to be in nature. Most times your feelings of confusion and uncertainty are stemming from your lack of connection to yourself.. You are nature, so you need to be in nature to feel clear and grounded.
